Hey serahz would love to help a sister with fertility issues. I have about 27 elevit tablets left over. Oddly I have fertility issues (carrying not conceiving) and my ob told me not to bother with elevit as I need to have 5mg of folic acid. So anyway if you want I could pop them in the post for you.

Elevit can only be sold by a pharmacy as they have 0.8mg of Folic acid in them. That amount of Folic Acid is only allowed to be sold from a pharmacy. The pregnancy supplements in supermarkets do have folic acid in them but not that much.

Phillipstown pharmacy has elevit for 50% off and its not short dated. YOu might find other chemists have that as I think its more than a store promotion if you know what i mean ! And yes sorry for your sister. But maybe you should ask your plunket nurse or put a notice at the supermarket. Here is clearly not the place.

Elevit is a Pharmacy only medicine. Its against the law for lay people to sell it

I was taking Elevit pronatal in the 1st trimester. But, I think it gave me mild acne on my face, or it could be just the pregnancy hormones.
